Senior Platform Engineer

DraftKings is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to shape the future of its engineering platform, focusing on building and refining tools that power development across the company. The role involves contributing to the full development lifecycle, writing clean and efficient code, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver solutions that support business and technical goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• At least 3 years of professional software development experience
• Hands-on proficiency in C# and.NET Core
• Experience building and maintaining distributed systems and microservice architectures
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Solid experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies
• Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform
• Knowledge of GitOps practices and infrastructure automation tools
