General Associate 2 - Warehouse Checker

Our cold storage warehouse is looking for a detail-oriented, motivated Checker (General Associate 2) to join our team. This role builds on warehouse experience and takes on added responsibility for the accurate receiving and shipping of perishable products in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment.

Requirements

• Use an RF scanner to receive inbound loads and scan product into our warehouse management system
• Take product temperatures and verify cold chain compliance upon receipt
• Reconcile product counts against bills of lading and flag any discrepancies
• Inspect incoming trailers, containers, and boxcars for product integrity and equipment condition
• Tag and label product pallets with ID labels and enter information accurately into the warehouse system
• Unload and load pallets from trailers and bobtails
• Hand-stack cases onto containers
• Re-stack pallets
• Transport pallets in and out of freezers and coolers to the docks
