Medical Office Specialist

Where compassion meets innovation and technology and our employees are family. This position is responsible for providing support functions necessary to accomplish the department's objective, including patient registration, scheduling, and management of incoming calls and patient inquiries.

• Must be flexible to clinical operational hours.
• Always maintains the utmost level of confidentiality.
• Travel to satellite locations may be required either by vehicle or plane.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Must manage multiple tasks in a busy medical office environment.
• Must communicate and work effectively with patients, family, and physicians.
• Must be able to work as a team member effectively.
• Maintain a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to travel up to 4 times a week.
• Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less).
• Distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more).
• Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors).
• Peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point).
• Depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships).
• Ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
