Lab Technician

We are looking for a motivated and detail-driven individual with a passion for quality, compliance, and continuous improvement to join our team at DS Smith Devizes as a Lab Technician.

Requirements

• Equivalent standard to GCSE grade C or above in Maths, English, and Science
• Previous experience in a quality or laboratory-based role, ideally within a manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of process improvement and root cause analysis methodologies
• Good communication skills, able to work effectively across departments and with external customers
• Strong IT skills, with essential experience in Microsoft Office (including Excel) for reporting and data analysis
• Experience supporting or conducting audits, with internal auditor experience preferred
• A structured, methodical approach with excellent attention to detail
• The ability to manage priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience of working within a corrugated manufacturing or packaging environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
