Senior Consultant, R&D/Product Development (Chemicals)

dss+ is looking for an experienced R&D Subject Matter Expert to provide consulting services to clients in the Chemicals industry in China. The role involves leveraging strong R&D experience and knowledge of product development to drive forward growth of clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, chemical engineering, or polymer materials
• Master's degree or above, doctoral degree preferred
• R&D experience from a world-class chemical enterprise
• Familiarity with market-oriented and customer-centric R&D models
• Experience in scale-up and engineering transformation
• Market analysis capabilities to ensure that R&D projects are closely focused on market demand
• Ability to understand and transform customer needs to promote the implementation of new product development or application development projects
• Practiced in the stage-gate review R&D management process
• Master the application of Six Sigma in R&D
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential
