PhD scholarship in Modelling and Applied Control of Fermentation Processes - DTU Chemical Engineering

A PhD position is available in the Process and Systems Engineering Center (PROSYS) at DTU Chemical Engineering in the frame of our ongoing industrial collaboration with Novonesis A/S. The project involves a broad investigation of the use of control in continuous fermentation systems in industrial biotechnology.

Requirements

• Literature studies of control systems of fermentation with in-situ product removal
• Experimental work in Pilot Plant
• Process modelling
• Control design development and testing.
