PhD scholarship in Tissue Optics and Deep-Tissue Optical Coherence Tomography for Detection of Pancreatic Cancer - DTU Health Tech

The job is for a PhD researcher in tissue optics and deep-tissue optical coherence tomography for detecting pancreatic cancer. The position is part of the Biophotonic Imaging Group in the Optical Imaging and Sensing section at DTU Health Tech, and the researcher will be working on developing new optical imaging concepts and technologies for early diagnosis and in situ treatment of pancreatic cancer.

Requirements

• Two-year master's degree (120 ECTS points) or a similar degree with an academic level equivalent to a two-year master's degree
• Strong background in applied physics, biophotonics, or photonics engineering
• Experience in tissue optics and working in a photonics lab
• Good communication skills in written and spoken English
