This position offers an opportunity to work on quantum photonics in 2D materials at DTU Physics, with a focus on fabricating and characterising single-photon emitters and spin defects in hexagonal boron nitride and related 2D materials.
Requirements
- Hands-on cleanroom experience with plasma processing (ICP/RIE), EBL, and/or FIB
- Experience fabricating or characterising emitters in wide-bandgap semiconductors or 2D materials (hBN, TMDCs)
- Familiarity with confocal microscopy, single-photon detection, and photon statistics measurements
- Experience with wet and dry transfer of 2D materials is required
- A publication record commensurate with career stage in high-quality journals
