Job Description
The Lower School Substitute is responsible for supporting the development of students in a nurturing learning environment. This role involves supervising young children, adapting teaching methods, evaluating student growth, and collaborating with parents and colleagues. It requires adherence to faith-based practices and professional standards.
Requirements
- In the performance of his/her duties, Employee shall be guided by the Goals and Criteria of the Sacred Heart and the Catholic Faith.
- Candidates must also possess: Bachelor’s Degree
- Teaching Certificate
- High level of competence using technology
- Strong references to convey teaching abilities
- Successful completion of criminal offender record information and sexual offender registry information checks
- Successful completion of CMG Safe Environment Training
- Current CPR certification
- General Competencies: Excellent communication skills with attention to detail
- Punctual and dependable, and builds trust among colleagues
- Ability to maintain accurate records
- Adherence to all personnel policies, procedures, and rules contained in the Duchesne Faculty/Staff Handbook
