MS Humanities Teacher

The Middle School Humanities teacher is a dedicated Sacred Heart educator who builds strong, positive relationships with students in grades 5–8 and demonstrates a genuine passion for teaching Middle School learners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Teaching Certificate
• High level of competence using technology
• Experience in a PreK – 12 environments, preferably in independent schools is a plus
• Strong references to convey teaching abilities
• Possess experience in and demonstrate a strong understanding and depth of knowledge in related content
• Excellent communication skills with attention to detail
• Ability to maintain accurate records and to maintain confidentiality
• Treat parents as partners in their child's education
• Possess strong people skills to be empathetic to children’s and parent’s needs
