Civil/Structural Design Engineer III or Senior Engineer – Harris Nuclear Plant

The Duke Energy Nuclear Fleet Corporate Design Engineering (CDE) department is the Design Authority for each of Duke Energy’s six nuclear sites. The Harris Nuclear Plant Corporate Design Civil Engineering team manages the capital engineering change (EC) portfolio at the Harris/Robinson nuclear sites.

Requirements

• Develop the scope, technical basis, installation and testing requirements for engineering design changes
• Research engineering and design issues, evaluate alternatives, determines and presents recommendations to resolve issues
• Provide ongoing support for assigned engineering design changes through work order reviews, corrective action program assignments, and field installation support activities
