Job Description
The Duke Pediatric Surgical Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) provides direct patient care services to children 0–21 years in an in-patient setting in collaboration with the attending physician, fellows, and residents.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited DNP or MSN Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program (NP)
- Graduate of ARC accredited Physician Assistant program, Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree strongly preferred (PA)
- Current unrestricted RN license issued by or recognized by the NCBON with approval to practice as an NP (NP)
- Current unrestricted medical license issued by the NCMB with approval to practice as a PA (PA)
- High acuity pediatric APP experience for a minimum of 1 year is preferred
