Registered Nurse (CNIII) - Duke Primary Care Riverview

Duke University Health System seeks to hire an experienced Registered Nurse who will embrace our mission of Advancing Health Together. The Registered Nurse (RN) will deliver advanced and specialized care to patients, following the standards set by the Nursing Clinical Ladder Program. The position is located in Durham, NC, and requires a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited BSN program
• Current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina
• BLS required
• Strong knowledge and appropriate application of the nursing process
• Solid foundation in professional nursing theory, practice, and procedures
• Ability to assess the nursing needs of both acutely and chronically ill patients and their families
• Ability to independently identify and utilize available resources while working collaboratively with the healthcare team
• Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
• Excellent communication skills with patients, families, visitors, healthcare team members, physicians, administrators, and leadership
