Entry Level Environmental Scientist - Dayton/Cincinnati

MAKSolve is a small consulting company seeking an Entry Level Environmental Scientist/Geologist with a desire to grow and develop a full understanding of scientific integrity and ethical business practices. The position involves environmental work, including Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and scientific field work practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Geology, Biology, or a related field
• Valid driver’s license with ability to travel locally
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
• Able to perform field work up to 90% of the time
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and adapt to changing tasks
• Strong communication skills with staff, clients, and contractors
• Commitment to maintaining safe work practices for self and others
• Ability to accurately document information (written and electronic)
• Physically able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs multiple times per day
