Job Description
The Senior Business Analyst will work with business stakeholders to conceptualize business initiatives, drive business strategy, and advise on better ways to solve business problems through IT systems or business processes. The role requires significant experience in iterative methodologies, business analysis planning, and requirements elicitation.
Requirements
- Matric
- 3- or 4-years tertiary qualification - BCom (Information Systems); BSc (Computer Science); BTech (Information Systems); National Diploma in IT /or equivalent qualification
- FTI Advanced Business Analysis Programme or equivalent (Advantageous)
- IIBA CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) (Advantageous)
- 5 years + as a Business Analyst with extensive experience on multiple software development projects
- Preferably in a banking, insurance & telecoms industry with a working knowledge of collections activities, processes and strategies
- 3 years + experience in the formulation of use case narratives and user stories
- 3 years + working experience with modelling languages such as UML, BPMN and IDEF0
- Experience in SDLC methodologies such AGILE (SCRUM), Scaled AGILE, DAD, RUP, Waterfall
