Job Description
The Assembler I performs bench or line assembly operations to produce components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies using various hand tools and semi-automation equipment.
Requirements
- Good communication skills and ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and work over equipment for long periods of time.
- Ability to work with and handle very small parts (.003 diameter).
- Ability to work with hand tools and possibly run a semi-automated machine.
- Ability to learn and understand dimensions on drawings.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to determine / recognize color coding.
- Basic math and measuring skills.
- Must be a good team player and have the ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds.
