Associate Professional - Application Programmer

Job Description: Associate Professional - Application Programmer at DXC Technology. Develop, test, and maintain software applications while providing technical support to end-users. Work with mainframe systems, COBOL, and/or SAS, and relational databases, with exposure to financial systems and accounting processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, finance, mathematics, or related field preferred
• One plus years of programming experience
• Experience or interest in working with mainframes using Java, COBOL and/or SAS applications
• Experience or interest in working with relational databases to facilitate programming software
• Programming skills
• Basic testing skills
• Personal computer and business solutions software skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for the design, creation, and testing of programs
• Communication skills to interact with team members and support personnel
• Interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
• Ability to work in a team environment
