Automation Test Engineer

DXC Technology is seeking an Automation Test Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will work on multiple teams, executing functional tests and authoring test materials. The role requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

Requirements

• Contribute to test planning, scheduling, and managing test resources
• Lead formal test execution phases on larger projects
• Define test cases and create integration and system test scripts and configuration test questionnaires
• Maintain defect reports and update reports following regression testing
• Adhere to and advocate use of established quality methodology and escalate issues as appropriate
• Understand the functional design of software products/suites being tested and their underlying technologies
• Apply basic industry and functional area knowledge related to the software product being tested
• Develop specified testing deliverables over the lifecycle of the project
