Job Description
DXC Technology is seeking a Mainframe System Programmer to maintain, install, and customize the mainframe operating system and installed software. The candidate will diagnose system and performance problems, execute configuration changes, and implement vendor-supplied software.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience in mainframe system programming
- Solid z/OS Operating System installation and maintenance
- Proficient in JCL coding skills, REXX and HLASM programming languages
- Solid problem determination and resolution skills
- Understanding of z/OS services structure, JES concepts, sysplex configuration, Unix System Services, Comm Server
