The Microsoft 365 Services Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, and operational support of Microsoft 365 services across the organization or customer environments.
Requirements
- Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 core services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Teams, and related workloads.
- Manage user accounts, licenses, groups, and identities using Azure Active Directory (Entra ID).
- Configure and maintain security, compliance, and governance features such as Conditional Access, MFA, data loss prevention (DLP), retention policies, and sensitivity labels.
- Monitor service health, availability, and performance using Microsoft 365 Admin Center and related tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to Microsoft 365 services, user access, mail flow, collaboration, and productivity tools.
- Support the onboarding and offboarding of users, ensuring proper access, license assignment, and data handling.
- Collaborate with security, networking, and endpoint teams to ensure an integrated and secure Modern Workplace environment.
- Assist in Microsoft 365 migrations, upgrades, and service enhancements (mailbox migrations, Teams adoption, SharePoint modernization).
- Create and maintain operational documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles.
- Stay current with Microsoft 365 roadmap updates, new features, and best practices.
