Senior Database Administrator

DXC Technology is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for database system administration and support, working with various database platforms including Oracle, MS SQL Server, and Maria DB. The role requires 5-10 years of experience in database administration, with knowledge of Oracle, MS SQL Server, and cloud database environments. Requirements

• 5-10 years' database administration experience of MS SQL Server & support on Windows/Azure environment.
• 1-2 years' database experience in installation, configuration, and setup of MariaDB and MS SQL HADR AG Failover Cluster instances & Peer-peer Replication.
• Knowledge or/and experience on Oracle Database, Oracle Exadata, OGG, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB & Cloud DB Environment models (DBaaS) will be an advantage.
• Experience on Oracle & MS SQL Server database security hardening, monitoring, and capacity planning.
• Ability to coordinate with customer, application project managers & vendors on database infrastructure setup and installation.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and a commitment to maintain optimum database system availability for customer.
