Job Description
Dynacare is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for obtaining quality blood samples and conducting patient tests, providing customer service, and maintaining quality metrics. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and managing deadlines.
Requirements
- Secondary School and a Laboratory Assistant training program or a Medical Lab Assistance course with specialized training in phlebotomy
- Customer-focused with a genuine care for patient's health
- Skill in phlebotomy, with the ability to manage anxious patients
- Prioritize and self-manage within a deadline-oriented environment
- Extremely detail oriented
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
- MLPAO/CSMLS Certification is strongly recommended
