Environmental Scientist - Dynamic Earth

The Environmental Scientist is responsible for environmental remediation projects, including remediation design and implementation. The role involves field work and office duties, including data reduction and reporting, and working with clients and vendors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology or related engineering field.
• 3-6 years’ experience in environmental consulting, including project management, phase I and II investigations, and soil, surface water, and groundwater monitoring and sampling.
• Engineer-In-Training (EIT) preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to maintain and operate personal and/or company vehicle.
• American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) Phase I site assessment experience and knowledge of state regulations and guidelines.
• 40 hour OSHA training, preferred
• Familiar with the use of AutoCAD to assist in the production of site plan drawings.
• Experience dealing with regulatory agencies and review professionals.
• Proficient in the use of available mapping websites for due diligence and site investigation purposes.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Software including Word, Excel, Outlook and Project.
• Must have hands-on experience with metric and English tools.
• Self-starter who can work independently and with team members.
• Independent and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
