The Buyer is responsible for procuring construction materials to support project and inventory needs. This role manages the end-to-end purchasing process, from supplier selection and negotiation to order fulfillment, while ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field preferred.
- 5 to 15 years of professional purchasing experience, ideally in construction materials or industrial products.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, purchasing software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
