Job Description
E Ink is seeking a highly motivated, creative and hands-on scientist to conduct leading-edge materials and process research for novel electrophoretic display technology. This Scientist will work on UV curable materials and polymer photolithography materials and process and pioneer new methods of making patterned UV-curable films in our Research and Advanced Development division.
Requirements
- Design and develop UV-curable formulations for roll-to-roll process
- Balance mechanical, optical, and electrical properties to meet the device’s performance requirements
- Spearhead research and development of novel photolithographic processes and materials
- Work with R&D colleagues to determine critical parameters and meet performance goals
- Engage with stakeholders across the company to facilitate process scale-up
- Develop a broad understanding of interactive components of multi-layer material stacks
- Work with global technology teams and external development partners to rapidly advance project goals and actively pursue contingency plans
- Communicate progress in organized reports to stakeholders
