Job Description
E-J Group seeks an Electrical Estimator to join their team, responsible for providing accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical projects. The successful candidate will have 8+ years of experience in electrical estimating, a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, and proficiency in industry-standard software and tools.
Requirements
- Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for projects
- Utilize industry-standard software and tools (McCormick, BLUEBEAM) to generate estimates
- Collaborate with the bid team to develop comprehensive bid proposals
- Participate in bid meetings and presentations
- Solicit and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors
- Prepare regular reports and summaries on cost tracking and estimating accuracy
