Data architect (m/ž)

E.ON Czech Republic is a leading energy company in the Czech Republic, providing expert services and consulting to all other E.ON companies in the country. We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to design, develop, and manage the entire data ecosystem on the Microsoft Azure platform. The role involves designing a modern, secure, and scalable data platform, managing data platform costs, setting rules and processes for data governance, and collaborating with business and IT teams.

Requirements

• University education in computer science, data science, software engineering, IT, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in the field
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and ability to communicate with business and IT teams
• Knowledge of data architecture and modeling, data standards, governance, metadata management, and data quality
• Experience with cloud platforms, data technologies, and tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure Synapse, Data Lake, Data Factory, Purview, AWS, GCP, ETL/ELT tools, databases, and big data and analytical platforms
