We are E WIE EINFACH, a leading energy provider in Germany, seeking a Senior Backend Engineer Kotlin/Spring Boot to strengthen our team and develop a lean, reliable backend and integration framework for a modern, cloud-native digital platform. Your mission is to set up and operate a stable and production-ready platform with high strategic impact.
Requirements
- Several years of experience as a Backend Engineer, preferably with cloud-native architectures in AWS
- Strong knowledge of Kotlin/Spring-Boot and experience in setting up API-driven integrations
- AI-native developer mindset with tools like Claude Code, Cursor (Composer) or Windsurf (Cascade)
- Practical experience in DevOps fundamentals: CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Cloud Deployments
- In-depth understanding of API-first systems (REST/GraphQL) and asynchronous integrations
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to collaborate across teams
- Sovereign communication in German and English
