Werkstudent Netzplanung FTTx / Glasfaser (m/w/d)

Westnetz GmbH is seeking a part-time student in Network Planning FTTx / Fiber Optics to support project teams in route planning and material disposition, and to work on special projects such as mass data collection. The ideal candidate has a background in electrical engineering, economics, or a comparable study with a matching technical focus and excellent knowledge of MS-Office, databases, and GIS systems. The role offers a structured onboarding and individual induction, flexible working hours, and an insight into the largest German distribution network operator.

Requirements

• Currently studying electrical engineering, economics, or a comparable study with a matching technical focus.
• Very good knowledge in working with MS-Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), databases, and GIS systems (e.g. QGIS).
• Enthusiastic about the fiber-optic/broadband expansion, especially about the challenges in the network planning area.
• Clear and appealing communication in German.
• Ability to work actively, tackle tasks systematically and concentratedly, and complete assigned tasks diligently and reliably.
