Job Description
E-Space is a company bridging Earth and space to enable hyper-scaled IoT deployments. They are building LEO space systems and seeking a Staff Battery Electrical Engineer to join their team. This role involves developing spacecraft battery management systems, executing battery pack requirements, and supporting the manufacturing and flight of batteries for E-Space satellites.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in power and battery electronics design
- 3+ years of experience in battery pack electrical design
- Expertise in battery management circuitssuch asfault protection, cell balancing,thermal management, power transmission, power supplies, and precision analog instrumentation
- Awareness of battery pack manufacturing techniques including cell characterization and welding
- Skilled at schematic capture and layout of complex PCBs
- Skilled at performing circuit analyses in SPICE and Excel
- Demonstrated success working in a dynamic environment
