Staff Electrical Engineer – Test Systems

E-Space is seeking a Staff Electrical Engineer for Test Systems to contribute to the development of automated test frameworks for satellite avionics and systems. The role involves hands-on design, testing, and testing strategy development for FHT systems, working collaboratively with various engineering teams. The position is based in Saratoga, CA.

Requirements

• Own the custom functional test equipment design from clean sheet to flight hardware production test.
• Develop functional test PCBA and other hardware requirements, architectures, and con-ops in collaboration with other engineering disciplines.
• Schematic capture and PCB layout of power, digital, and analog instrumentation circuit PCBAs using Altium Designer.
• Develop test strategies and plans in collaboration with flight HW designers and other engineering disciplines.
• Circuit simulation and analysis in SPICE, Excel, etc.
• Support SW engineers in the development of automated test control software.
• Execute flight hardware qualification and production acceptance testing including ambient functional and environmental tests.
• Support DUT anomaly resolution.
• Contribute to the development of engineering and production best practices to support most efficient manufacturing.
