Job Description
The Cathodic Protection Tester - Inspector is responsible for ensuring quality data is delivered to client partners by observing, recording, and measuring the effectiveness of cathodic protection systems.
Requirements
- Assist with comprehensive CP Surveys (CIS, ACVG, DCVG, PCM) on various metallic structures
- Perform detailed inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance of cathodic protection systems
- Install, test, and monitor CP equipment to ensure effective corrosion control
- Keep abreast of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to cathodic protection
- Provide technical support and expertise to clients and internal teams
- Identifying outside currents negatively affecting company operations
- Recognize safety issues specific to CP and take a proactive approach to safety on the job site
- Maintaining interactive work relationships with Specialists and Engineers
