Join Our Team as a Full Time Bilingual Child Mental Health Counselor for our Nassau County Child Advocacy Center. Provide trauma-informed therapy for minor victims of human trafficking, rape, sexual abuse/assault and their non-offending family members.
Requirements
- Master’s degree/licensure/certification in a related mental health field or a Master’s degree in a related mental health field and working toward licensure and preferably receiving supervision by a licensed mental health professional.
- Experience delivering an evidence-supported mental health treatment such as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), Parent-Child Interaction therapy (PCIT), Alternatives for Families Cognitive Behavior Therapy (AF-CBT), Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CFTSI) or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
- Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) required.
