Forensic Case Manager - Queens TASC MH

Join Our Team as a Forensic Case Manager! The job involves providing screening, treatment planning, case management, and court reporting for eligible substance abusing and/or mentally ill clients. The role requires a strong understanding of the Behavioral Health & Justice Involved Population and ability to work cooperatively with treatment and criminal justice systems.

Requirements

• Act as liaison to the courts and correctional facilities
• Provide screening services for the more routine and less complex cases within the judicial system
• Work with supervision to effectuate referrals to a mental health, drug abuse, or alcoholism facility
• Assist clients in applying for and receiving public and private benefits
• Maintain case documentation and caseload of clients
• Prepare and present written and oral status reports to the criminal justice system
• Investigate and recommend supportive services for clients
• Conduct drug testing on clients as needed
