Job Description
Expanding and maintaining platform applications, ensuring clean and safe code, collaborating with product managers to translate user needs into technical solutions.
Requirements
- At least 6-8 years of practical experience in software engineering roles.
- Experience with Java v17, Maven, Spring Boot v3, Docker, and Git.
- Proficiency in developing applications using Docker and serverless technologies on AWS.
- Passion for writing elegant code and a desire to continuously refactor and improve, with an understanding of SOLID principles.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs in microservices architecture.
- Ability to perform a thorough code review process, writing unit tests, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Understanding of relational database design principles and proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, such as DynamoDB.
- Familiarity with Agile processes, Scrum or Kanban.
- Experience working with PHP, including building and maintaining web applications.
- Experience working with front-end code, preferably using Angular.
- Maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with caching solutions, such as Redis, Memcached, or others.
- Experience with streaming and queuing solutions (preferably Kafka, Kinesis, or SQS).
- Work on high-availability transactional systems.
- Familiarity with TDD and Pair Programming practices.
- Experience monitoring applications.
- Knowledge of information security and ability to design and implement security solutions against security threats.
