Director of Civil Engineering & Chief Dam Safety Engineer

As the Director of Civil Engineering and Chief Dam Safety Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, integrity, and reliability of our dam infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license/certification with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of dam safety regulations, guidelines, and industry standards (e.g., FERC, State).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and external partners.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of professionals.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Fundamental understanding of structural, geotechnical, hydrologic, and hydraulic engineering concepts and application, and construction management.
• Knowledge of dam instrumentation including various types of piezometers, inclinometers, etc.
