Staff Software Engineer - Digital Assets

At Early Warning, we've powered and protected the U.S. financial system for over thirty years with cutting-edge solutions like Zelle and Paze. We're looking for a Staff Software Engineer to lead the design and delivery of cross-border and digital asset-enabled payment platforms.

Requirements

• Lead design and implementation of core services supporting cross-border payments
• Partner with Product, Architecture, and Security teams to ensure solutions meet regulatory, fraud, and operational requirements
• Influence technical direction and standards for scalable, event-driven payment systems
• Build technical strategy for broad or complex requirements
• Participate in the strategic development of methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for projects and programs
• Drive all aspects of technical architecture, design, prototyping, and implementation
• Provide leadership and technical expertise in support of building a technical plan and backlog of stories
• Represent engineering in cross-functional team sessions and able to present sound and thoughtful arguments
• Collaborate and partner with product managers, designers, and other engineering groups
• Actively own features or systems and define their long-term health
• Assist support and operations teams in identifying and quickly resolving production issues
• Develop and implement tests for ensuring the quality, performance, and scalability of our application
• Actively seek out ways to improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes
