Job Description
EarnIn is a data-driven fintech company looking for a Head of Data to lead the vision, evolution, and operational excellence of its end-to-end data ecosystem. The role oversees the teams responsible for EarnIn's data persistence layers, state-of-the-art data platform, and business insights.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering, infrastructure, and systems
- 5+ years of building and leading engineering teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or equivalent experience
- Deep expertise with distributed systems (Spark, Flink), event-driven pipelines (Kafka), and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with Scala and Databricks is a plus
- Strong understanding of database design across SQL and NoSQL ecosystems
- Solid experience with CI/CD, Terraform, Git, and modern data orchestration
- Proven ability to implement data governance, security, and compliance frameworks
- Excellent communication skills and influence across technical and executive teams
