Job Description
The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for providing support and assistance to clinical staff in the management of medication ordering and delivery. They communicate among patients, co-workers, insurance companies, and prescribers, and demonstrate compassion and care by proactively identifying and resolving potential problems.
Requirements
- Pharmacy Technician license from the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy
- High school graduate or GED required
- Must have completed Pharmacy Technician Trainee requirements
- Excellent communication skills in English as well as basic reading and math skills
- Computer proficiency with an electronic medical record
- Commitment to exceptional customer service
- Spanish fluency preferred
