High School Science Teacher (2026-2027)

High School Science Teacher position at East Harlem Scholars Academies, a community-based Pre-K to 12 public charter schools. The teacher will report to the Instructional Leadership Team, collaborate with grade team and provide high-quality instruction to students.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant educational positions teaching Science
• Bachelor's Degree or higher, and hold or are in the process of obtaining a New York State teaching certification for your subject/discipline area
• Ability to speak, write, and understand Spanish fluently
• Hold yourself to high professional and ethical standards
• Experience working with diverse populations of students and communities
• Demonstrated success in raising the achievement levels of traditionally at-risk students
