Job Description
The Home Visitor position at East Side House Settlement is a full-time, non-union role that requires a High School Diploma and Home-Based CDA credential or comparable credential. The successful candidate will provide home visits to support parents/guardians and facilitate child development, while also working collaboratively with families to identify goals and develop objectives.
Requirements
- Maintain a caseload of 10-12 participants
- Provide 90-minute weekly home visits to support parents/guardians and facilitate child development
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, parent/child focused Group Socializations twice per month
- Lead learning activities designed to foster students' social, emotional, cognitive and physical development
- Assist parents in identifying strengths and goals leading to school readiness
- Record keeping and reporting to ensure compliance with Head Start regulations and high-quality programming
