Job Description
Easterseals Academy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic services to children with disabilities in a school setting. The role involves developing IEP goals, conducting evaluations, and participating in medical and clinical meetings. The therapist will collaborate with the school team and provide comprehensive care and support to students in the Machesney Park campus.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and Illinois State License
- Experience working with special needs populations
- Completion of required clinical hours
- Ability to perform crisis prevention and intervention training and CPR
- Ability to multi-task in a high-stress environment
- Ability to interact with diverse personalities
- Ability to participate in all Department of Human Services training requirements
- ADA Compliant
