Job Description
Easterseals is seeking a Head Start Assistant Teacher to join their team. The Assistant Teacher will work with the team to create inclusive activities for all children, including those with disabilities, and prioritize child health, safety, and well-being. The position requires a minimum of 1 year of professional teaching experience and a CDA or higher certification is preferred.
Requirements
- Supervise children in a classroom setting
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and appealing classroom environment
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures and policies
- Interact with children frequently, with care and respect at all times
- Model and encourage developmentally appropriate social behavior and expectations
