Admission Counselor

Eastern Connecticut State University is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the Admissions Counselor position, responsible for representing the University to prospective students and other individuals. The position requires a Bachelor's degree, strong cross-cultural and interpersonal skills, and ability to travel extensively.

Requirements

• Plan and implement recruitment activities for assigned high schools and territories
• Counsel prospective applicants on the admissions process and opportunities at the University
• Review and score application essays and other materials submitted by applicants
• Coordinate and contribute to the success of various student visitation programs
• Assist in the development and implementation of on-campus events and programs
