Teacher - Special Education Preschool

Easterseals of Southeastern Pennsylvania seeks an energetic and passionate Special Education Teacher to serve young children with disabilities within our Approved Private School (APS) preschool program at the Philadelphia location.

Requirements

• Lead the classroom team to ensure consistent implementation of lesson plans, student supports, and a safe, positive learning environment.
• Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Design and deliver engaging lesson plans that promote academic, social, and developmental growth.
• Collaborate with related service providers to integrate therapeutic and educational supports throughout the school day.
• Communicate regularly with families about student progress, IEP goals, and strategies for continued growth at home.
• Support students' personal care and developmental needs in a nurturing, inclusive classroom setting.
