Lead Software Engineer

Join easyJet's first digital hub in Barcelona as a Lead Software Engineer and contribute to the evolution of their digital commerce platforms. As a leader in the eCommerce Platform Delivery team, you will provide technical stewardship and guide the squad towards technical excellence.

Requirements

• Take accountability for executing the technical direction within the squad
• Strong expertise in.NET internals and architecture
• Experience applying Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles and event-driven patterns
• Ability to execute squad-level technical direction and architectural decisions
• Experience using engineering measures such as DORA metrics
• Proven expertise in cloud and commerce technologies
• Extensive experience in observability practices
• Proven ability to embed robust security and compliance controls
• Strong experience in CI/CD, automated testing, and DevSecOps practices
• Ability to coordinate and lead the squad effectively
• Experience working within large-scale eCommerce or high-transaction environments
