Job Description
We are seeking a Procurement Manager to join our team in Luton, UK. As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of spend across IT Data & Technology, producing and delivering a Procurement Category Plan that supports our strategic objectives.
Requirements
- Experience in procurement, category management, or supplier relationship management within IT, data, or technology
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to understand market dynamics and create innovative category plans
- Proven relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, including board level
- Ability to understand complex specifications and contract scopes
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to review financial and management information
- Experience in reviewing and marking up contracts
- Determination and drive to deliver results
- Ability to influence and challenge at a senior management level
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience managing end-to-end competitive tender processes
