Assembler II

Assembler II role at Eaton's IS AER ITD division, responsible for assembling, fitting, fastening, and installing parts to form subassemblies, with a focus on military mechanical/electromechanical equipment. The core hours are 6:00am to 2:30pm and the hourly rate is $20.00 per hour. The assembler will perform various tasks such as setting up equipment, weighing and mixing materials, and following intermediate drawings and procedures. The role requires excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to read and follow instructions, and manual dexterity to assemble small and intricate parts. The assembler will also be responsible for reworking and repairing assembled parts and products according to engineering specification changes, and working in a safe manner to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• A minimum of 2 years experience in a Manufacturing Environment
• Ability to lift 30 lbs. and handle components and assemblies using bending, reaching, and twisting body movements
• Good manual dexterity to assemble small and intricate parts
• Ability to read and follow instructions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills – both verbal and written
