Job Description
The Coil Winder (Machine Operator)- 2nd Shift role offers a full time work week of 40 hours and potential overtime at Eaton's ES AMER ESS division. The position involves winding coils used in electrical equipment and instruments according to wiring diagrams, sample coil, or work order, using coil-winding machines and hand tools.
Requirements
- Review wiring diagrams and work order or examine sample coil to ascertain type and size of wire specified
- Wind standard coils for dry type transformers
- Utilize hook-up/hot work assembly tools to meet production demands
- Inspect product quality and installation to ensure conformance to production quality standards related to coil dimension, bus bar location, etc.
- Maintain a minimum of 80% of productivity time standards
- Adhere to company regulations, including adherence to policies regarding safety, attendance and punctuality
