Job Description
Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is seeking a EHS Manager for a full-time, on-site position at our Kearney, NE manufacturing plant. The EHS Manager will establish and manage all Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security programs and functions of the facility.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in environmental, safety, health function within a manufacturing environment and/or related industry
- Proficient in maintaining, ordering, and using a wide variety of chemicals for equipment needed to support production
- Requires the ability to manage emergency situations effectively
- Working knowledge of cross-functional EHS disciplines including fire suppression
- Ability to lead and support cross-functional process improvement teams
- Ability to serve as a corporate subject matter expert in one of the EHS functional disciplines (occupational health, environmental management, safety, security or fire protection)
